Prince William, Prince of Wales waves as he visits the East Belfast Mission at the Skainos Centre as part of his tour of the UK to launch a project aimed at ending homelessness on June 27, 2023 in Belfast, United Kingdom.

You never know where Prince William may pop up!

On Thursday, a video shared on X showed the Prince of Wales, 41, surprising Emma Webb on day 13 of her charity walk to raise awareness for mental health. Webb was walking from Wales to London in memory of her daughter Brodie, 16, who died from suicide in March 2020.

As Webb stood pulling a life-size horse dubbed Miles to honor her daughter's passion for horse riding, Prince William walked up in front of her and quietly said, "Boo." Webb jumped in shock, putting her hands to her face as she realized who had joined her. Once everything sank in, she and Prince William shared a hug.

In a personal message shared on X, Prince William said, "What an incredible thing Emma is doing to raise awareness of youth suicide, in memory of her daughter Brodie. Very special to be able to join her for part of her journey this morning." He signed the message "W."

"I was aware that he'd seen what I was doing on the news, but I wasn't aware that he was going to turn up on the streets of Slough and walk with me, so it was amazing! He appeared from behind the horse and shouted, 'Boo,' at me!" Webb told the Daily Mail.

"I turned around, and I was just gobsmacked that he was stood there. Me, a little old Welsh lady from Newport with a plastic horse and the Prince of Wales is just stood in front of me!" she continued.

"I didn't really know what to do when I saw him. He put his arms out and I thought, 'Right, I'm going to have a nice hug,' so he gave me a nice hug, or a Welsh cwtch!'" she added. "To have a hug from the future king, it's just unthinkable, it was like an out-of-body experience."

Webb told the Daily Mail that she and the other mother she was with whose daughter also died from suicide talked to the Prince of Wales for 20 minutes about mental health. She said Prince William told her he'd come to support her. She added that he even offered to help push Miles while he was there.

The mental health advocate also explained that she shared with Prince William how she'd faced some weather obstacles on the journey so far, but she said that everyone she'd met along the way had stopped to help her.
