Catherine, Princess of Wales, looked radiant this morning while attending a solo engagement at Windsor Castle.

Kate met with the Royal Navy ship's company of HMS Glasgow. Last year, Queen Elizabeth II appointed the princess as the sponsor of the warship, which was built for the United Kingdom's Royal Navy.

And today, Princess Kate spoke to company members about how the ship build is going and what life is like in the Royal Navy, according to Kensington Palace.

For the audience, Kate appropriately dressed in head-to-toe navy. Sophisticated as ever, she wore a fitted blazer with matching pleated trousers and suede pumps in the same hue. She styled the suit over a white wrap top and accessorised with a black leather belt and delicate jewellery: a gold-and-navy necklace, matching gold drop earrings, and her sapphire engagement ring.

Kate was given the title of Princess of Wales by King Charles III upon Queen Elizabeth's death earlier this month. The title carries much weight, as it once belonged to Princess Diana. Prince William also received a title change, becoming the Prince of Wales, a title previously held by his father, the new sovereign.

Following the queen's passing, Kate and William are expected to carry out more and more royal engagements and will be spending much time in Wales. William even revealed he's learning Welsh in an effort to more genuinely connect with the people of the country.
