Revenue from Pennsylvania table games up slightly

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) -- Pennsylvania casinos are reporting a slight increase in revenue from table games.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board said Wednesday that revenue from table games totaled $67.9 million last month, up nearly 1 percent from a year ago. It was the most money collected from table games since blackjack, roulette and other games were introduced at Pennsylvania casinos nearly four years ago.

Overall revenues at the state's 12 gambling halls were down 4.2 percent in March because of a continuing slide in the play of slot machines.

March tax revenue from table games was $9.8 million.
