Roku gets upgraded, Pfizer raises prices on dozens of drugs, Alibaba invests in Chinese media giant

Roku (ROKU) just got a big upgrade – to Outperform by Oppenheimer. Analyst Jason Helfstein says more users are tuning in to the service’s ‘Roku Channel’ which will help boost the company’s ability to monetize the platform. He set a new price target of $50 a share.

Get ready to pay more for dozens of drugs made by Pfizer (PFE). The pharma giant just jacked up prices by more than 9% for some of its best sellers. That includes drugs like Lyrica. Pfizer says the price changes only impact about 10% of its drugs, and some are seeing price cuts.

Alibaba (BABA) is making a big investment in a Chinese media giant. Along with Tencent, Alibaba helped raise nearly $1.5B for state-backed CMC. That’s one of China’s biggest media companies, with deals around the world, including a joint venture with Warner Brothers.

Tesla (TSLA) is looking for a new engineering chief. Doug Field is officially exiting the company, after a leave of absence. Field was responsible for developing new Tesla vehicles. Elon Musk himself took on those responsibilities during Field’s absence. The company thanked Field for his hard work over the years.
