Ruth's Hospitality: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

WINTER PARK, Fla. (AP) _ Ruth's Hospitality Group Inc. (RUTH) on Friday reported third-quarter net income of $3.6 million.

On a per-share basis, the Winter Park, Florida-based company said it had profit of 12 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 13 cents per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 11 cents per share.

The restaurant chain posted revenue of $99 million in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $95.9 million.

Ruth's Hospitality shares have climbed 26 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased 33 percent in the last 12 months.
