Yahoo Finance Simone Ashley undergoes major hair transformation with a fresh-out-the-shower lob cut
Simone Ashley is pretty high up on our list of hair envy. Her covetable mane of full, volumised, shiny dark tresses makes us swoon on a regular basis, but it seems the star has snipped it short in a dramatic hair transformation.
Simone arrived at The Fashion Awards in London, wearing her hair in a striking, wet-look long bob. It's fresh-out-the-shower-hair meets The Little Mermaid – which is fitting, as Simone is playing one of Ariel's singing sisters in the upcoming live action remake of the Disney classic. The wet'n'wavy look was created by stylist Peter Lux and was a perfect accompaniment to her ethereal gown, which was covered in gemstones and worn with a matching bejewelled veil. The shorter, minimal volume hairstyle allowed the veil to hang freely, while still creating an other-worldly effect, befitting of the outfit.
At first we thought her long hair might be cleverly tied in a bun at the nape of her neck, hidden by the veil and creating a faux hair cut with her shorter layers. But snooping has led us to this shoot where we can see it does indeed appear to be her new real hair length.
