BEIJING (AP) _ SouFun Holdings Ltd. (SFUN) on Wednesday reported a loss of $44.9 million in its first quarter.

The Beijing-based company said it had a loss of 10 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and stock option expense, came to less than 1 cent on a per-share basis.

The real estate internet company posted revenue of $62.8 million in the period.

The company's shares closed at $3.52. A year ago, they were trading at $3.08.
