MADRID (AP) _ Telefonica SA (TEF) on Wednesday reported third-quarter profit of $1.32 billion.

On a per-share basis, the Madrid-based company said it had profit of 24 cents.

The telecommunications company posted revenue of $13.6 billion in the period.

Telefonica shares have declined 15 percent since the beginning of the year.
