There's another Love Island recoupling which isn't shown on TV

If you've been watching Love Island every day for the past month (guilty), you probably reckon you've seen most of what goes on in the villa - but it turns out that's not the case, and there's actually a pretty huge moment which viewers aren't shown.

Of course, we know the duller Love Island activities aren't shown on TV (i.e. when the Islanders are eating meals or having their mics set up), but it's now been revealed that there are some juicier moments which aren't aired either.

Spilling some behind-the-scenes secrets from the show, former Islander Amy Hart revealed there's actually another recoupling which viewers don't get to see and, to be honest, it makes total sense.

Taking part in a TikTok Q&A trend, Amy answered the question "Is there a formal recoupling at Casa Amor before they return", telling fans, "Yes in the afternoon!".

On TV, viewers usually only get to see the Casa Amor Islanders returning to the main villa either single or with their new partners, while we see the Islanders in the main villa already sat alone or coupled up. However, according to Amy, it turns out there is actually a regular recoupling beforehand where the Islanders make their decisions, which makes complete sense.

The news about the secret recoupling wasn't the only bit of behind-the-scenes info shared by Amy. When asked "Do they tell you who to recouple with?!" she set the record straight, answering "No not at all!"

Meanwhile, in response to the question "Why don't we see you eat?" she joked that there was "Much more exciting stuff to show".

Hands up who wants to see the Islanders chatting over a bowl of spag bol?
