$130,000: SHOCK amount top politicians spent on travel during lockdowns
During the strict lockdowns gripping the nation between July and September last year some Federal politicians were travelling when others couldn't.
While the vast majority didn’t spend anything on international travel, Prime Minister Scott Morrison racked up a rather large bill.
For others, it was their domestic travel expenses that started stacking up, with many politicians capitalising on being able to claim a standard $291 for each day of travel.
