Trade Alert: The Chief Executive Officer Of Tower Limited (NZSE:TWR), Blair Turnbull, Has Just Spent NZ$69k Buying 35% More Shares

Whilst it may not be a huge deal, we thought it was good to see that the Tower Limited (NZSE:TWR) Chief Executive Officer, Blair Turnbull, recently bought NZ$69k worth of stock, for NZ$0.76 per share. That purchase might not be huge but it did increase their holding by 35%.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At Tower

The Independent Chairman Michael Stiassny made the biggest insider purchase in the last 12 months. That single transaction was for NZ$120k worth of shares at a price of NZ$0.60 each. Even though the purchase was made at a significantly lower price than the recent price (NZ$0.76), we still think insider buying is a positive. Because the shares were purchased at a lower price, this particular buy doesn't tell us much about how insiders feel about the current share price.

In the last twelve months insiders purchased 821.37k shares for NZ$529k. But insiders sold 18.75k shares worth NZ$11k. Overall, Tower insiders were net buyers during the last year.
