USANA Health: 2Q Earnings Snapshot

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) _ USANA Health Sciences Inc. (USNA) on Tuesday reported second-quarter earnings of $33.9 million.

The Salt Lake City-based company said it had profit of $1.36 per share.

The nutritional supplement maker posted revenue of $301.5 million in the period.

USANA Health expects full-year earnings to be $4.75 to $5.05 per share, with revenue in the range of $1.17 billion to $1.2 billion.

USANA Health shares have increased 48 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $109.45, an increase of 72 percent in the last 12 months.
