Usher is performing in his residency at La Seine Musicale in Paris
The singer who is currently doing a residency in Paris through Oct. 5, performed at La Seine Musicale on Sunday and sang his song “Boyfriend” in front of actress Gabrielle Union.
“Somebody said that your boyfriend's lookin' for me,” Usher, 44, sang as the crowd and Union, 50, danced, as seen in a video clip shared on Instagram by both the singer and Wade.
“Well, he should know I’m pretty — OK, let’s stop. Let’s not get carried away. This is Dwyane Wade, I ain’t crazy,” Usher joked as he shook the former NBA player's hand. “That man will knock my whole head off and then dunk it."
“What’s up, king?” Usher asked Wade, 41, as the pair laughed and exchanged a hug.
Usher captioned the fun footage, "Look, I don’t want no smoke 😅 👐🏾 Night one in Paris ... "

Palmer, 30, sported a fitted, black bodysuit under a sheer dress as Usher serenaded her on stage. This led to Jackson tweeting at the time, "It's the outfit tho ... you a mom."
The pair have since moved on from the issue and even attended Beyoncé’s Renaissance birthday show together at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles earlier this month. The actress and musician also showcased photos of Jackson, as well as their son Leo (born in February), during a sweet slideshow as part of her Big Boss Tour stop at Webster Hall in New York City on Monday.
Asked about the moment, Usher told PEOPLE in August, "Every night I'm thinking about how the world now is going to react to this moment that I'll have with whoever I'm choosing to sing to.”
“But it was a pop moment, and it was fun to have at least conversation going and we just keep it light,” he added. "I don't see anything negative happening in Las Vegas."
Usher has been busy as of late, as he kicked off his Paris residency on Sunday and it was recently announced that he will be headlining the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show.
Using the introduction of the singer's “Confessions” music video, the video announcement shows Kim Kardashian telling Usher that he will be headlining the Apple Music event, which will take place on Feb. 11, 2024, at the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.
The performance will mark the "My Way" hitmaker's second Super Bowl appearance. He previously performed at the event in 2011, when the Black Eyed Peas were headlining.
