You could own Harry Potter’s home with the Dursleys

If you've wanted to live in the wizarding world of Harry Potter, here's your chance - sort of.

The Chosen One's childhood home - complete with the cupboard under the stairs where he slept and where that fateful invitation to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was addressed - is up for sale for $616,000.

The house in Bracknell, U.K., about an hour outside of London, was used for the external shots of 4 Privet Drive, in the 2001 film "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.”

In the films and books, the home belonged to Potter's dastardly aunt and uncle Petunia and Vernon Dursley, who grudgingly took him in after his parents were murdered by Voldemort. Harry lived their with his aunt and uncle’s terror of a son, Dudley.
