Robin Williams' Napa vineyard estate sells for $18.1 Million

After four years on the market, the former residence of the late Robin Williams has been sold -- at a steep discount. Originally put on the market by the actor in 2012 for $35 million, the estate had no buyer, was taken off the market, and relisted several months later at $29.9 million. Williams committed suicide in 2014, and the home went to his three children, who lowered the price to $25.9 million, then $22.9 million. The estate sold late last month to French winemaker Alfred Tesseron and his niece Melanie Tesseron.
The estate, named Villa Sorriso (Villa of Smiles), was built by Williams in the early 2000s while married to his second wife, Marsha Garces. The couple divorced in 2010.
