Stars Giving Back During the 2022 Holiday Season

Did his heart grow three sizes? Dax Shepard — dressed as The Grinch — and Kristen Bell as Cindy Lou Who donated 250,000 of their holiday Hello Bello diapers to children's charity Baby2Baby ahead of Giving Tuesday.

On Dec. 20, Ciara and Russell Wilson paid a visit to the Children's Hospital Colorado's Seacrest Studios — a broadcast media center donated by the Ryan Seacrest Foundation — and spent quality time with the children.

During their visit, the couple sang holiday carols like "Deck the Halls" and "Jingle Bell Rock" — while encouraging the kids to sing along with them.

Aside from caroling, the couple also read their book Why Not You? to the kids and did a photo meet and greet.

New Amsterdam's Ryan Eggold spent Dec. 12 at iBRAIN Brooklyn, meeting children with traumatic brain injuries and brain-based disorders. The actor posed for photos with many of the kids, and spent time learning about the organization's therapeutic and educational resources.

Fancy feet! Ludacris spent Dec. 7 donating new shoes to kids at Atlanta's Miles Intermediate Elementary school in partnership with Mercedes-Benz USA and Shoes That Fit, all part of Mercedes' Season to Shine holiday giving campaign.

The rapper — who gave away more than 1,200 pairs of Nikes and Adidas sneakers — also hit the stage for a chat and performance, and treated everyone to bites from the locally owned Not So Famous Cookie Co. truck

In the days before Christmas, Jennie Garth, Lee Rodriguez, Laura Harrier and Alycia Debnam-Carey volunteered with Feeding America, serving families in need at St. Ferdinand's Church in Los Angeles.

Shaquille O'Neal kept his spirit of giving going, hosting the Shaq-A-Clause Pop Up Toy Giveaway in East Point, Georgia, on Dec 21.

Ahead of Thanksgiving, Andy Cohen and America Ferrera volunteered with Feeding America at Urban Outreach Center in New York City.

Tiffani Thiessen enlisted husband Brady Smith and kids Harper and Holt to help out with Feeding America at St. Ferdinand's Church in Los Angeles, where they passed out produce to more than 350 families in need.

Sister act Halle and Chlöe Bailey joined fellow musicians DIXSON and DDG (not pictured) at the Boys & Girls Club, Mar Vista Gardens Branch, passing out turkeys and other Thanksgiving ingredients to community members ahead of the holiday.

For the third time in several years, rapper Fat Joe gave away 3,000 grocery bags full of $80,000 in food on Nov. 22 at his UP NYC stores New York City. Krasdale stores CTown Supermarkets and Bravo Supermarkets supplied the groceries, which included turkeys, cranberries, veggies and milk.

Usher joined forces with HUNGRY and Sunfare in his hometown of Atlanta to provide 500 hot meals prepared by J's Kitchen to residents of Freedom Village Family Service Center. "Giving back to others, especially in my hometown, is so important to me," the singer said. "Sharing today with my sons, Cinco and Naviyd, felt especially good since this gift of serving over 500 hot meals is helping other families locally be able to enjoy the holiday."

Chef Robert Irvine, a Wheels Up brand ambassador, participated in the company's Meals Up initiative on Giving Tuesday, making more than 200 meals with volunteers at Philadelphia's Philabundance to give to local veterans facing food insecurity.

Chef Carla Hall took over Panorama High School with Jennie-O to honor school cafeteria workers in Los Angeles, cooking up a pre-Thanksgiving feast and even teaching the school's culinary students to make her famous biscuits.

Another chef cooking up some good this season, Ming Tsai continued his Bing Dong Dine! program, surprising local families facing a cancer diagnosis with a celebrity chef dining experience at home through warm meals, bings (a Chinese flatbread), food essentials and grocery gift cards. Tsai visited four homes in Massachusetts on Nov. 21 in partnership with Family Reach's "Hope for the Holidays" in order to raise $500,000 for local families fighting cancer. To date, he's raised more than $100,000 for the organization.

Hallmark Channel and GAC Family's Jen Lilley is bringing back her Christmas Is Not Cancelled fundraiser. The actress is encouraging fans to purchase toys for children in need through her website, which in turn gives donors an entry into the Ultimate Christmas sweepstakes for chances to win prizes like a ski trip featuring dinner with Trevor Donovan and an 'Ultimate Christmas' package that includes a tree and décor, catered holiday meal and a trip to Hollywood to meet Lilley and some of her costars. Books and toys will be delivered to Toys for Tots and ChildHelp, with money going to Project Orphans.
