Citi cuts its PayPal revenue forecast ahead of earnings

Yahoo Finance Live’s Brian Sozzi breaks down a Citi’s decision to cut its revenue forecast for PayPal.

BRIAN SOZZI: All right, we're watching PayPal shares ahead of its February 9 earnings report. Citi analysts are cutting their 2023 and 2024 revenue forecasts on PayPal before the results, citing mixed earnings out of MasterCard and Visa. Says Citi, "Paypal's stock is up about 16% year to date, and a crisply executed earnings call matters to continued momentum, in our view."
