Cuomo denies prosecutor's claims of sexually harassment

"I never touched anyone inappropriately, or made inappropriate sexual advances," Cuomo said in a recorded statement.

"That is just not who I am. And that's not who I've ever been."

His comments come the same day New York Attorney General Letitia James announced an independent investigation concluded Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women in violation of U.S. and state law.

The findings were detailed in a scathing 168-page report.

James said the offenses were civil in nature and would not be referred for criminal prosecution.

Cuomo said his attorney had crafted a point-by-point response to the prosecutor's report.

"The facts are much different than what has been portrayed," Cuomo said.
