Double blow for car sector as JLR, Ford announce job cuts

Britain's biggest carmaker Jaguar Land Rover said it will cut around 4,500 jobs as it tries to tackle a slowdown in China and a slump in demand for its diesel-powered vehicles. And, as Laura Frykberg reports, Ford Europe says it will cut thousands of jobs, exit unprofitable markets and discontinue loss-making vehicle lines.
