- All right. We are just minutes away from the closing bell. Now let's bring in Yahoo Finance's Jared Blikre to break down all the market action and see if we can rally towards the close. Jared?

JARED BLIKRE: Yeah, it looks like we got the NASDAQ barely in the green, but that doesn't count for much, does it when we are-- breaking news-- still in a bear market. I guess that is actually not breaking news. Here are the NASDAQ futures. So we can see the AM action as well overnight, but we have descended into bear market territory a few times today, probably closing around that level. Want to get to the heat map action. Here's the sector action for today. We've got a mixed board. Energy in the forefront.

There's some speculation that OPEC plus at its next meeting may announce some production cuts. We'll have to see what comes of that. But mostly, things are in the red here, although we do see the defensive sectors more in the red. So it could be a ray of sunshine there. Here are leaders. We have 10.

That is a solar ETF followed by ARKK, cannabis, MEME stock, IPOs-- all of those outperforming. And throw transports and biotech in there, too. Not a bad look today. I do like to check in on travel as we approach that closing bell. Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and Airbnb-- all of those in the green a little more than 3% today.
