Germany: state spending helped avert Q4 recession, but morale index sinks again

German business morale has fallen for the sixth month as concern persists over a slowdown in Europe's largest economy. As David Pollard reports, the survey results came within hours of official data showing it was higher state spending that helped stop Germany slipping into recession in Q4.
