Goldman Sachs reiterates ‘buy’ rating and price target on Walmart

Yahoo Finance Live's Brian Sozzi discusses Goldman Sachs reiterating 'buy' rating and price target on Walmart.

Video transcript

BRIAN SOZZI: All right, before we head to break, let's reconnect with Walmart stock, speaking of retail, as Wall Street continues to weigh in on the retailer's quarter. From earlier in the week Goldman Sachs analyst, Kate, McShane is out reiterating a buy rating on shares of Walmart for price target of $155 which assumes about 11% upside from current levels. Says McShane, we still like Walmart, given the strong top line trends along with market share gains, moderating markdown pressure expected, supported by an improved inventory position, and the long term algorithm for sales and profits remains intact.
