'Nightmare': air strikes hit Dnipro residential area

STORY: A representative of the State Emergency Services told Reuters it was a "miracle" that the strike only wounded people and caused no immediate human deaths. Reuters captured video images of at least one dead dog.

One resident who gave her name as Nadia said she was in the hallway of her home when she felt the impact of a missile strike.

"The windows flew in, all the windows flew into the house. And I couldn't get out because the door was jammed in the veranda. But the guys sawed off the lock and I got out this way. Oh, horror, nightmare," she said.

The Kremlin has denied that its attacks were aimed at civilians, but said on Thursday (November 24) Kyiv could "end the suffering" by meeting Russia's demands to resolve the war.
