Yahoo Finance Live's Brian Sozzi discusses Twitter stock performance as speculation rises over a possible Musk-Twitter agreement.

Video transcript

BRIAN SOZZI: All right, before I head to break, let's pull up shares of Twitter as the ticker remains hot in the Yahoo Finance ecosystem. Elon Musk and Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal did not depose in the ongoing litigation as scheduled on Monday in what marks another unusual twist heading into a potential court battle. The news lit a fire under Twitter into Monday's close on speculation the two would be announcing some form of agreement. But how this saga turns out is anyone's guess. Says Wedbush analyst Dan Ives, quote, "We continue to believe there is a possibility behind the scenes." Both parties look to attempt negotiations before stepping into a court battle in a few weeks."
