RACHELLE AKUFFO: We're less than two minutes away from the closing bell. Let's bring in Yahoo Finance's Ines Ferre to break down the market action. Hey, Ines.

INES FERRE: Hi, Rachelle. And taking a look at the Dow, we are going to end the session in the green. But take a look here. So we saw a little bit of volatility, some choppiness throughout the trading session.

The NASDAQ composite up more than 1% and the S&P 500 also higher. Looking at the 10-year Treasury yield, we are seeing that down 7 basis points to 3.8%. Also, the US dollar index dipping just a little bit and that's giving some support to equities.

Communication services, that's the one that's really in the lead along with consumer discretionary and real estate. Over on the Dow, Walmart up more than 6 and 1/2% after its quarterly results. Also, on the NASDAQ, we are watching Alphabet up more than 2%.

Meta also higher. As I mentioned, communication services. Apple up more than 1%
