Zara's secondhand clothing service set to launch in US
STORY: :: Zara’s secondhand clothing
service is coming to the U.S.
:: Owner Inditex says Zara will offer the service to sell,
repair or donate secondhand clothes by the end of October
:: It says the aim is to prolong the
life cycle of clothes and reduce waste
:: Zara's 'Pre-Owned' platform launched in Britain
in 2022 and is available in 16 European countries
:: Inditex has said it was committed to operating
the platform in all strategic markets by 2025
:: Zara has not yet disclosed data on
how many customers use its service
:: But Inditex's CEO said its online platforms
receive more than 22 million visitors per day
:: Other fast fashion retailers, like H&M,
also offer secondhand products for resale
:: Zara also plans to launch a live shopping show
in the U.S. and other markets in the coming months
