Climate activists are planning a march targeting Citigroup's headquarters in New York on Friday, part of what they call a "Summer of Heat" campaign. More than 1,000 climate activists are expected to take part in the march that will terminate with a "mass civil disobedience action" at Citi's offices, according to a statement from the Summer of Heat on Wall Street campaign, which is organizing the protests. Citi employees have been alerted to anticipate "significant protest" activity around its headquarters building on Friday, according to a source at the bank who shared the security notification with Reuters.

Toyota to launch first EV with advanced self driving system for China in 2025
Toyota is planning to launch the first electric car model equipped with an advanced autonomous driving system similar to Tesla's Full Self-Driving for the Chinese market next year, one of its Chinese joint ventures said. The JV with state-owned Guangzhou Automobile Group (GAC) aims to restore the Japanese automaker's market share in China by catching up with Chinese rivals on technologies in hybrids, batteries and intelligent vehicles. GAC Toyota said it would launch Bozhi 3X SUV next year as the first model to be equipped with the system that would enable advanced driving assistance for parking and navigation on highways and urban traffics.

Spanish oil major Repsol plans to sell a minority interest in its Eagle Ford shale assets in South Texas, in a deal that could value the assets at up to $2 billion, three sources familiar with the talks told Reuters. The sources said Repsol has hired Scotiabank to assist with the process, and aims to bring in a partner or partners to hold so-called non-op positions, earning a cut from sale of hydrocarbons while paying a share of operating costs. The non-op partners are not responsible for oil and gas extraction or other day-to-day operations.
