DH’BAB Productions Lands Slate Financing & Distribution Deal With Saudi’s Muvi

EXCLUSIVE: LA-based DH’BAB Productions has struck a slate financing and distribution deal with Saudi studio and cinema chain Muvi.

The deal, financial details of which were not disclosed, will see Muvi using its finance and distribution expertise to back three projects from DH’BAB.

Muvi CEO Adon Quinn said the two companies would “work hand in hand to produce compelling narratives, immersive experiences and innovative content that resonates with both Saudi and global audiences.

Muvi Cinemas currently has 205 screens in 21 locations across 10 cities in Saudi.

DH’BAB said Muvi’s scope and resource would allow it better achieve its company mission statement of connecting the global industry with opportunities in the GCC region and Saudi Kingdom. DH’BAB is led by Saudi Arabian actor and producer Hishan Fageeh (Barakah Meets Barakah) and Sultan Tamer.

“This collaboration with Muvi represents a monumental milestone for us,” said Fageeh, President of DH’BAB. “Their unwavering support, distribution capabilities, and financial investment not only validate our vision but also provide us with the resources and freedom to explore new horizons in storytelling and content creation in Saudi.”

The deal was brokered by consultant and executive producer Fadi Ismail, who recently produced three Saudi films and has a track record developing and producing Arab content, with 3Point0 Labs advising DH’BAB Productions through the process.

DH’BAB signed with LA’s 3Point0 Labs earlier this year.
