CRBG or BBSEY: Which Is the Better Value Stock Right Now?

Investors interested in stocks from the Insurance - Multi line sector have probably already heard of Corebridge Financial (CRBG) and BB Seguridade Participacoes SA (BBSEY). But which of these two stocks is more attractive to value investors? We'll need to take a closer look to find out.

CRBG currently has a forward P/E ratio of 4.79, while BBSEY has a forward P/E of 8.24. We also note that CRBG has a PEG ratio of 0.24. This metric is used similarly to the famous P/E ratio, but the PEG ratio also takes into account the stock's expected earnings growth rate. BBSEY currently has a PEG ratio of 0.74.

Another notable valuation metric for CRBG is its P/B ratio of 1.20. The P/B is a method of comparing a stock's market value to its book value, which is defined as total assets minus total liabilities. By comparison, BBSEY has a P/B of 6.26.

Based on these metrics and many more, CRBG holds a Value grade of A, while BBSEY has a Value grade of C.

Both CRBG and BBSEY are impressive stocks with solid earnings outlooks, but based on these valuation figures, we feel that CRBG is the superior value option right now.
