General Electric officially split into GE Aerospace and GE Vernova in April. GE Aerospace now trades at its best level since the 2008 meltdown.
General Electric's energy spin-off company, GE Vernova, said that it has secured orders for new units to be installed at Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA)’s Kingston Energy Complex. GE Vernova became an independent company in April following a three-way split of General Electric, and provides services and equipment to the energy sector.

GE Aerospace was the best-performing stock in the S&P 500 in April after the aircraft company had an exciting couple of weeks.
