Wow! Amazing results! Just curious, what are holders' next move? Do you sell, given the recent market volatility, and take profits? Or keep holding? I bet we could see $30 this year.

Expecting some phenomenal numbers here. Search trends for Barbies, Uno have blown up this holiday season. If they match up with Hasbro growth from the prior quarter (-4% to +4%) we could see Mattel do something similar (10% to +18%) but I expect Mattel growth this quarter will slightly moderate into the 15-18% growth range due to competition from Hasbro products. This quarter should have great numbers.

Just from current report Mattel is undervalued by 10 percent. Based on the projection for holiday season quarter , I think price should be 25-30 percent higher from it is now by January 2022

Does anyone really monitor these boards? While you’re upgrading Yahoo, please make sure the comments pertain to the stocks and nothing more. there are too many people trying to sell you something or advise you to go to someone’s site. This is not what boards are for.

MAT is going to $20 then $25. With the 3rd quarter earnings of .95 cents they are positive now with .02 earnings for FY 2020. If they do another .90-1.00 in earnings in the 4th quarter they have about $1.00 in earnings for FY 2020. Listen to the conference call they were bullish just trying to keep of with inventory demand from retailers.
With $1.00 in earnings a P/E ratio of 20 puts it right at $20. Right now Hasbro has a P/E of 32. So if you value MAT the same way it could be $32 with a good MAT 4th quarter, but happy with $20-25 from where this has been.
Good pipeline for 2020 as well with He-Man action figures being sold at Walmart, and the series coming to Netflix. Bring back the 80's cartoon for middle aged men like me and show it to the younger generation, and make some money!

I don't see how this could've happened, since Minimark promised Mattel was doing great. He told everyone on the day he bought his shares for $13.50. It's easy to remember because the next day Mattel canceled its entire debt sale, and fired its CFO. I wonder how that SEC investigation is going?

I look at this board and it is all very quiet with nice people. Maybe it's all parents like me( tired parents ) that realized that Mat is a good investment after buying toys to their kids to comfort them in these crazy times. I really think the trend of going up will continue in 2021 and I expect another 50% this year

I will be the first to admit I am short this stock right around $10.50 and intend to hold. I am at a loss though, and would appreciate input from bull or bear, but looking at the previous quarters financials, how do then intend to address the crippling debt. Revenue increase nice, but $3B plus in debt with $194MM in cash just doesn't equate. Any opinions? I would love to know what I am missing. If I am wrong, someone point it out and I will close out my short position --- I just don't see it.

I never understood how you can have a sell rated on a stock with a target price higher than the current price. Same for the flip side buy ratings with lower prices.

Toy industry on fire with Covid......Mattel leading the way....expect a blow out quarter/half/year....should be epic. My call is we touch $30 per share by 4/30. All the estimates and targets will get re-written with new reality about to hit. Hold on tight...here comes the Hot Wheels ride to glory!

We do not need a dividend yet. What needs to be presented and sold the in professional institutions is that this company is back, paying off debt, and the new products are hot. Get the stock price up--dividends will come later.
