Amal Clooney wears two sequin party dresses in one evening

Although Amal Clooney tends to be better known for her excellent workwear wardrobe, we also cannot get enough of her style on the red carpet. Last night, the lawyer joined husband George Clooney and movie star Julia Roberts at the premiere of their new film Ticket To Paradise in London, where she wore not one, but two sparkly party dresses.

Posing on the red carpet alongside her husband, Clooney looked beautiful in a strappy, sequin slip dress. The Twenties-inspired gown featured hundreds of beads in a chevron print and clung perfectly to her frame. She added some glamour to the look with a bouncy blow dry, statement diamond earrings and a bold red lip.

Later in the evening, Clooney was pictured heading to the afterparty, where she embraced yet more sequins.

Often praised for wearing expert tailoring and great workwear, Clooney is now proving herself to be a real force on the red carpet too – and might just be our new party-dress inspiration.

Over the last year, we've seen her embrace everything from sparkles to bold prints, while she has also opted for feathers on more than one occasion, wearing 16Arlington to the London Film Festival in October. In fact, Clooney seems to be stepping out of her style comfort zone more and more of late, proving to all of us why we should inject our eveningwear wardrobes with as much glamour as possible.

And although she always looks elegant and grown up, Clooney often favours something sparkly to make a statement, proving that sequins are not just for teenagers. With Christmas party season right around the corner, there could not be a better inspiration to look to.
