BEIJING (AP) _ China Petroleum & Chemical Corp. (SNP) on Tuesday reported third-quarter profit of $3.1 billion.

The Beijing-based company said it had profit of $2.22 per share. Earnings, adjusted to account for extraordinary items, came to $2.11 per share.

The energy and chemical company posted revenue of $113.57 billion in the period.

China Petro&Chm shares have risen 10 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen almost 10 percent in the last 12 months.
