Dow surges on Caterpillar, 3M and McDonald's earnings

Stocks (^DJI, ^GSPC, ^IXIC) are pushing to new record highs with Caterpillar and 3M boosting the Dow. The industrial (XLI) and financial (XLF) sectors are the most in the green, while the health care (XLV) sector is most in the red.
