ExlService Holdings: 2Q Earnings Snapshot

NEW YORK (AP) _ ExlService Holdings Inc. (EXLS) on Thursday reported second-quarter profit of $14.5 million.

The New York-based company said it had net income of 41 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 67 cents per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of nine analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 65 cents per share.

The provider of outsourcing services posted revenue of $210.1 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Eight analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $209.3 million.

ExlService Holdings expects full-year earnings in the range of $2.70 to $2.80 per share, with revenue in the range of $878 million to $892 million.

ExlService Holdings shares have fallen slightly more than 1 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed roughly 2 percent in the last 12 months.
