ExlService Holdings: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

NEW YORK (AP) _ ExlService Holdings Inc. (EXLS) on Thursday reported third-quarter profit of $15.2 million.

On a per-share basis, the New York-based company said it had net income of 43 cents. Earnings, adjusted for amortization costs and stock option expense, were 71 cents per share.

The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of nine analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 71 cents per share.

The provider of outsourcing services posted revenue of $231.1 million in the period, missing Street forecasts. Eight analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $231.2 million.

ExlService Holdings expects full-year earnings in the range of $2.72 to $2.78 per share, with revenue in the range of $877 million to $885 million.

ExlService Holdings shares have climbed slightly more than 6 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen roughly 3 percent in the last 12 months.
