Jason Kelce had a special gift to thank a McDonald’s employee.

On Wednesday, the Philadelphia Eagles center, 36, visited his local fast food spot to give employee Danielle Bonham a personalized present, according to Fox 29 Pennsylvania.

The NFL star signed his #62 jersey with a message to Bonham. “To Danielle. Go Birds! Thank You!” Kelce wrote, according to a post on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Bonham shared the picture of her holding up the jersey and smiling while a chipper-looking Kelce is peeking through the drive-thru window.

The NFL star frequents Bonham's McDonald's location regularly, meaning that she has “had the pleasure of serving the Eagles star a sausage, egg and cheese quite a few times,” per Fox 29 Pennsylvania. She has shared several selfies from various encounters with Kelce, who has been a favorite player of hers “for many years now,” with the Philadelphia Eagles Fan Group on Facebook.

In one post from around Christmas, she shared a photo with Kelce and wrote that the two talked about the holiday and their gratitude for one another.

“I thanked him for everything he does for the community. He turned around thanked me for always being kind,” she wrote. “He said you’re one of the best people that works for this corporation. I almost  cried.”

The sweet gift comes after Kelce addressed rumors that he is going to retire from the NFL after Monday's loss.

Rumors of Jason Kelce's NFL retirement began after Monday's game

The father-of-three opened up on his New Heights podcast with his younger brother Travis Kelce about the rumors that he had informed his teammates of his intentions to exit the league after the Eagles' loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and elimination from the playoffs, which had been initially reported by ESPN.

"I just don't think you're in a position after a game like that to really, you know, make that decision. I just don't," Jason said. "There’s too much emotion in the moment. There’s too much going down in the moment to really fully grasp that decision."

"I'm not trying to be dramatic to continue to draw this thing out," he added. "I'm really not."

While he did not confirm or deny voicing his intention to retire to his teammates, Jason did share some details about what was said after the game — a speech many have interpreted as indication of his retirement. "I did address the team and pretty much said, 'I [believe] in every single one of you guys,' " he recalled. "'Cherish your moments in this league.' "

Kelce appeared visibly distraught as he left the field after Philadelphia's 32-9 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a wildcard game.

During the final play, Kelce hugged his longtime offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland. Then, Kelce choked back tears and searched for his family, including his wife, Kylie Kelce, and father, Ed Kelce, in the stands.
