The "On the Floor" singer shared multiple photos from the pair's musical date on Instagram

Jennifer Lopez enjoys Broadway date with EmmeJennifer Lopez and her child Emme had a Broadway date on Sunday!
The singer and actress, 54, and her 16-year-old enjoyed some quality time together as they headed to see Merrily We Roll Along in New York City.
Among a carousel of photos shared on Instagram, Lopez, dressed in a bright green jumpsuit, hugged Emme in one shot, while another photo featured the musical's name and cast surrounded by lights.

Jonathan Groff with Emme Maribel MuñizLopez and Emme even got to meet some of the play's actors, with one snap showing Emme recieving a hug from Jonathan Groff. The Mother actress also shared a clip of Emme posing for photos backstage.
Another pic featured Lopez smiling while sitting with her face resting in her hand as she wore a cozy knitted gray sweater.

The "I'm Real" hitmaker's latest social media snaps come after she shared a sweet video of twins Emme and Max last month to mark their 16th birthday. The trio headed to Japan for a vacation with family and friends to celebrate their milestone special day on Feb. 22.

The video montage, set to Lopez's track “Hummingbird,” began with the Marry Me star saying behind the camera, “I’ve never seen Max so excited,” as Emme replied, “I’ve never seen myself so excited.”
The video then switched to Emme giggling while holding some piglets before the camera turned to Max sitting down with a friend for some food. “16 🥥🥥 Birthday trip 2024 🤍🤍,” Lopez wrote in her caption.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY COCONUTS, I love you,” Lopez wrote at the end of the video.

The This Is Me...Now star shares Emme and Max with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, whom she was married to from 2004 to 2014.
In a 2022 interview with PEOPLE, Lopez spoke about the twins getting older. "They're venturing out, they're being their own people and it's us just trying to keep up," she said.
“That's the journey of it [and] another path you have to go on," The Mother actress continued. "It's a joy for me."
