Despite being amongst the most famous people in the world, and with a TV show that allows fans to follow the ins and outs of their glamorous lives, there are some things that the Kardashian family keep private. Take Kim Kardashian's co-parenting journey with ex-husband Kanye West, for example.

After splitting last year, the former couple kept the details of their family life – and their divorce – relatively out of the limelight. But, in recent months, Kanye has repeatedly taken to social media to accuse Kim of denying him access to see their four children – North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.

Now, Kim's sister Khloé Kardashian has called out the rapper for his decision to go public with their parenting drama. "Ye, I love you. I don't want to do this on social media but YOU keep bringing it here," she wrote on Instagram. "You are the father of my nieces and nephews and I'm trying to be respectful but please STOP tearing Kimberly down and using our family when you want to deflect."

Khloé continued: "Again with the birthday narrative. Enough already. We all know the truth and in my opinion, everyone's tired of it. You know exactly where your children are at all times and YOU wanted separate birthdays. I have seen all of the texts to prove it. And when you changed your mind and wanted to attend, you came."

"Like you pointed out yourself, she is the one taking care of your kids 80% of the time," she added. "Please leave her and the family out of it so that the kids can be raised peacefully. I come from a place of love and I am happy to continue this conversation privately if you wish."

In response, Kanye – who recently changed his name to Ye – shared a screenshot of the comment to his own Instagram feed. "You are lying and are liars. Y'all basically kidnapped Chicago on her birthday so she could remember her father not being there," he claimed.

He went to accuse the Kardashians of 'playing' with Black fathers and said that he should see his children "100% of the time".

In the comments section, there was a mixed response from fans. "Let the man be a father..." one person commented, as someone else said: "Welcome to the real world of co-parenting."

A third person chimed into the conversation with: "Poor kids being in the middle of this. When parents choose to separate, sometimes, that means separate events, holidays, etc."
