Multiple insiders bought ECS Botanics Holdings Ltd (ASX:ECS) stock earlier this year, a positive sign for shareholders

It is usually uneventful when a single insider buys stock. However, When quite a few insiders buy shares, as it happened in ECS Botanics Holdings Ltd's (ASX:ECS) case, it's fantastic news for shareholders.

While insider transactions are not the most important thing when it comes to long-term investing, we would consider it foolish to ignore insider transactions altogether.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At ECS Botanics Holdings

In the last twelve months, the biggest single purchase by an insider was when MD & Executive Director Nan-Maree Schoerie bought AU$90k worth of shares at a price of AU$0.018 per share. Even though the purchase was made at a significantly lower price than the recent price (AU$0.023), we still think insider buying is a positive. Because it occurred at a lower valuation, it doesn't tell us much about whether insiders might find today's price attractive.
