You need to see Kim Kardashian’s no makeup makeup look

When we came out of lockdown, the big beauty trend of the moment was clear: maximalism. Everybody was taking the re-emergence into society as a chance to wear their brightest eyeshadows and crack out that bold lipstick colour.

But now, the eyeshadow dust has settled and we’re on the brink of a makeup trend in the complete opposite direction. Over the past month or so, no makeup makeup has made a huge comeback, as proven by Kim Kardashian herself.

The entrepreneur has already given us a glowy and fresh no makeup makeup moment for a recent Skims campaign. Then, there was that selfie in which Kim showed how to add a subtle touch of glam to a no makeup look with super long, defined lashes.

Now, Kimmy has done it again, this time posing in her Skims x Fendi purple underwear set. In the snap, Kim’s makeup is stripped back. Her skin looks fresh with a light base and a lighter concealer to highlight her under eyes and chin.

Her makeup artist Ash K Holm, who posted the pics on Instagram, opted for neutral-toned eyeshadows (if Kim is wearing any eyeshadow at all). She also used black eyeliner for simple definition, complete with layers of mascara. On her lips, Kim is wearing a nude pink-toned colour with a lighter shade on the centre.

All in all, a super pretty look for everyday wear. Plus, it means less time blending and more time in bed. We approve this message.
