Turkish Airlines: negotiating with Airbus, Boeing on buying 235 aircraft

ISTANBUL, April 29 (Reuters) - Turkish Airlines Chairman Ahmet Bolat said on Monday that the company is negotiating with both Airbus and Boeing regarding the 235 aircraft that it plans to purchase under its expansion plans.

Speaking at an event with Airbus, Bolat said his company was waiting for problems faced by Boeing to end, so was not in a hurry to reach a decision on its fleet plan, adding that Turkish Airlines had always followed a balanced policy regarding Airbus and Boeing.
