Here are some of the biggest stories investors will be watching on Thursday, April 25, 2024.

A slew of companies will report their quarterly results including Microsoft (MSFT), Alphabet (GOOG, GOOGL), and Southwest Airlines (LUV).

On the economic data front, the highly anticipated preliminary read on first quarter GDP will be released. Economists are expecting that the US economy grew by 2.2% in the first three months of the year.
