Bitcoin sets all-time high, now above $66,000
On Wednesday, Bitcoin prices rose above $66,000 to set a fresh all-time high. The cryptocurrency held onto gains from earlier this week, after the first-ever Bitcoin futures exchange-traded fund, or the ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF, rose by nearly 5% in its public debut on the New York Stock Exchange on Tuesday.

- Welcome back to Yahoo Finance. As we just highlighted before we headed off to a break, Bitcoin hitting an all-time high, currently at $65,641.98. Obviously could be blowing through even more records through the next seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, years, who knows, to come.
Obviously, all of this coming one day after we saw that Pro Shares ETF launch yesterday with, for the first time, exposure to Bitcoin futures contracts listed on the CME. That's popping up by over 7% in a day that had a lot of volume. Again, this is pinned to Bitcoin futures not Bitcoin spot. But obviously, those in the crypto space probably pretty happy about all the happenings in that space today.
