Ford invests $700 million in Kentucky truck plant

Ford invests $700 million to ramp up production of its EV trucks at its Kentucky manufacturing plant.

SEANA SMITH: Well, in the meantime, take a look at shares of Ford. You can see just under pressure today. Now the automaker announcing it will invest $700 million in a Kentucky truck plant and add 500 jobs. This is in an effort to support production of its 2023 model year F-series Super Duty Truck. Now this is the first wholesale redesign of this truck since 2017. It also shows that even as Ford is investing and betting big on EVs, the automaker is still staying true to its roots with its trucks.
