Snowflake's new AI offering is just the tip of the iceberg: CEO

Snowflake (SNOW) is launching 'Snowflake Arctic,' a generative AI model that is optimized for enterprise workloads and is free for research and commercial use, according to the company.

Yahoo Finance Executive Editor Brian Sozzi sits down with Snowflake CEO Sridhar Ramaswamy (SNOW) to take a deep dive into what Snowflake offers, how it's utilizing AI to revolutionize enterprise software, and more.

Ramaswamy gives insight into the company's plans to utilize AI: "What we're going to be doing is we're going to be integrating this model into our managed model offering, called Cortex, so people that can write SQL, for example, can use this model and also other follow-up models that we will be releasing. We'll also be incorporating it into products like a Copilot, which helps analysts write SQL faster or this product called Document AI which is going to let business users get structured information from things like contracts, from documents, for example. "
